Beginner
Have you never played an instrument before? No problem. You will learn the basics of batucada in a fun and dynamic way:
- Instrument technique.
- Coordination and sense of rhythm.
- Traditional Brazilian rhythms.
- Teamwork and active listening.
From day one you will start playing and feeling the energy of an authentic batucada.
Intermediate
For people who have already had previous experience with percussion or batucada. We will work on:
- Rhythmic variations.
- Choreography and movement.
- Your first live performances.
- Increased speed, precision, and musicality.
Kids (ages 5 to 12)
We also have a group designed specifically for the younger ones, where children discover Brazilian percussion through play, develop their sense of rhythm, and learn to play together in a fun and safe environment.

What makes Slap Batucada different is that learning doesn’t stay in the classroom. Our students get the chance to perform in local festivals, street parades, music festivals, cultural events, and batucada gatherings all across Catalonia.
